I think this might be my new favorite National Park we’ve been to. It’s close with the Arches but this one is so amazing. It’s such a unique landscape and so fascinating. It looks like sand castles. The stripes throughout them also is interesting. It’s just beautiful. 😊

On top of that we had so much fun with the wildlife here. We saw huge fields filled with prairie dogs. It was so cute driving by because they were standing up on top of their homes and running around. We actually pulled over and they entertained us for a while. We caught a group of them hanging out and jumping up and down. 😂

Then as we drove some more we ran into a herd of big horn sheep. They were walking and playing in the middle of the road for a good couple of miles. Crossing back and forth like the cars weren’t even there. Then there were 2 males in the back that I believe kept fighting. It was so cool to see this. Animals in the wild fighting. They didn’t even care we were there watching them. I took videos of them for about 45 minutes before we decided to leave. Got some super cool pictures and videos.

Because we stayed and watched the animals so long by the time we drove back the sun had set so I couldn’t take pictures. It stunk because this side was so much more exciting then the other side. This is definitely a place to add to your list to visit. Pictures don’t serve it justice. If you go definitely stay at the campground inside the National park.

Prairie Dogs

There were hundreds of them. They were so fun to watch.

These were the two that kept fighting. They were so funny. They would stare each other down before and after they hit heads. Then they would walk on like nothing happened. Then they would do it all over again 😂

Bighorn Sheep

They walked down the street for almost a good mile before deciding to get off
