Drove Through 3 States Today!!!!

We drove 425 miles today, which took us 9 1/2 hours to do. Honestly too long of a trip. We drove through Iowa, through Illinois and into Indiana. OHHH and we still don’t have AC up front and Iowa brought back the humidity and I’m sure we will have that the rest of our way home. The great eastern region. I am the WORST at getting pictures of the WELCOME TO ________! state signs on the highways. I wish I had one for each state. I always have my phone in hand to take pictures except for when those come up. And I think Guy does it on purpose, he yells last minute when he knows it’s too late. It’s almost like I’m trying to shot a gun. He yells “Monkey, picture picture picture” and I grab my gun (phone) have to unlock the safety (passcode) and shot. SOOOOOO....no welcome pictures. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But on a good note I can shoot a gun much better than my camera. 😂

We are out of the mountains and in the flat lands. Pretty farm land with lots of crops and wind turbines. We also times it perfectly to hit Chicago’s rush hour traffic 🙄.

Anyway, 10:00pm and we pulled into the alpaca farm and can’t wait to see the animals tomorrow. Aliyah is sooo excited for the animals!!! She is disappointed I didn’t bring her a farm outfit (I always dress them for the occasion). And Guy has already asked the owner if he can drive his tractor tomorrow. 🤣 Who didn’t know that was coming. His lifelong dream will become reality tomorrow. Unfortunately he won’t be wearing his jean overalls and cowboy hat 🤷🏼‍♀️
