First Day-River Ranch RV Resort, FL

It rained most of the night after we arrived and setup so I just worked on organizing the inside. My brother and his family are here as well as my parents so the kids are super happy to be with their cousins and staying entertained. My dad is trying to teach us all we need to know.

Our mishaps already:

Through the night the RV settled a bit more then initially and we had put some buckets underneath the RV to get them out of the way and they got a little smashed :) Then we noticed some hydraulic fluid leaking (after we just paid someone 2 days ago to service the hydraulics and check the batteries) and then my dad noticed the batteries were smoking and swelling up. Apparently they are old and didn't have any water/fluid in them. So, we got new batteries and hydraulic fluid and we will need to find somewhere along the way to look at the hydraulics. Thank god the batteries didn't explode!!

WIFI doesn't work and phone service is in and out.

Hoping for tomorrow to experience a real day of camping.......
