We are leaving Ginnie Springs today. My parents ended up surprising us and met us there. My dad helped Guy do some things to the RV (cell antenna, satellite dish tv, put outside tv on a swivel) and none of it really works yet 😂 well the swivel is good! The springs are absolutely beautiful and fun.

I believe this is a privately owned campground that is switching over to a state park. It is run by high school and college kids for the most part who have no personality and aren’t friendly (just doing their job). The campgrounds are very dirty: dirt, straw and sand. If you want an electric/water site you have to make reservations for them but if you are tent camping it’s first come first serve. There is a dump site in the back of the campground. The sites along the water are for tent camping.

We stayed on site 51 which was right upfront near the checkin center, store and tube rentals. We had cell service and WiFi the whole time and the bugs weren’t too bad. The further back you go they had no service and mosquitoes were terrible. We went from Monday-Thursday so it was busy but not as busy as weekends. The majority of the people there were a much younger crowd (mainly college kids). The campsite is near two colleges that’s why.

You can bring your own canoes, kayaks, paddle board and tubes and they have an air fill station. You can rent single or double tubes from them and they also rent out kayaks. Overall the springs were awesome but campground was dirty. It is also a very affordable campground and a great experience.

The Amuials give Ginnie Springs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
