We really wanted a working farm vacation. We had found a beautiful farm in NC but they are closed due to COVID. Then I found 2 in Pennsylvania and Vermont but we cut that area out of our trip. So, then I found an alpaca farm 🦙. Heritage Farm is a simple and adorable little place to enjoy the farm life.
We woke up ready to work but all there was to do was feed the animals and collect the chicken eggs. So, the kids did all of that. They have tons of alpacas, chickens, a rescue horse, a dog, cats and kittens. I didn’t know but alpacas are considered therapeutic animals. They are so soft and cute. I just love their big eyes and their adorable hairstyle.
Aliyah is definitely in her real happy place. She always lights up around animals.
I was also able to make one of Guys lifelong dreams come true today, even though he didn’t have the correct outfit on and we didn’t have Kenny Chesney playing “she thinks my tractors sexy” 🤠. He enjoyed himself too...riding a tractor.
