Colorado has made us very adventurous. Today we went and hiked in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Due to the coronavirus we had to purchase entrance tickets but for a time slot. They wouldn’t let you in until exactly your time either. They are trying to space people apart and everyday they were sold out. We bought our tickets 3 days before the day we wanted to go but the earlier times were already taken. Recreation.gov is where you go to buy your tickets and you only need 1 ticket per car.

We didn’t mean to but we hiked 3.5 miles (2 1/2 hours) and again I think we ended up on a difficult trail. It might not sound like that far but it was uphill and down hill and over rocks, etc. We did it though and it was beautiful. Thank goodness we decided to wear tennis shoes and not flip flops. The last part of the hike we were walking down the edge of the mountain with a steep drop. I was nervous about Aliyah making the wrong step but she did great and wasn’t even scared.
