Westgate River Ranch, FL

This is a nice resort style camping location. They have different styles of camping for all.

RV Campgrounds

If you book through Westgateresorts.com their campgrounds are in a huge grassy field and you camp on a gravel pad. They have hookups but no fire pits but you can bring your own🔥.

The other option for RV camping is to book through camplife.com. These sites are privately owned and are nice but differ based on what the owner did to the site. They all have concrete slabs and full hookups. We stayed at 68A and had Cable, 2 bench swings, in ground fire pit, nice big outdoor table, chairs, umbrella, grill and adorable decorations. Lots of beautiful trees and shaded areas. Nicely landscaped!

Other camping options

They have oversized teepees ⛺️ if you want to go “glamping”. You can tent camp in the grassy field and they have picnic tables. They also have a small hotel you can stay in. Options for all to stay!!!

There are 2 pools and the shower/laundry facilities are nice and clean.

They have a ton of activities (check their website for a complete list) but some are archery, skeet shooting, rock climbing, mechanical bull, and the Rodeo is on Saturday nights. Due to the coronavirus they have cancelled their Saturday night dance parties for now but the rodeo and all other activities are opened. We have AT&T and our service was awful the whole time but my parents and brother had T-mobile and theirs worked.

We had a great time and would definitely go back. The rodeo was so much fun for our whole family and while we were there one of the bulls jumped the fence 😱.
