I was so excited for this destination and I had to choose between Zion and Bryce. I chose Zion and I have to report that it was a huge disappointment.

We did luck out and got shuttle passes. I logged into recreation.gov at 9am the morning before we were going and was able to get them for $1 each. Everyday at 9am they unlock some tickets for the next day.

The views weren’t as breathtaking as I was anticipating. It was beautiful but not a must see. I think we have been extremely lucky with the route we have taken with the views along our way.

Also, out of the 9 stops they have inside the park only 3 of them were open. This caused lots of people traffic and I constantly had people walking next to me, right behind me and in front of me. I felt pressured to hurry through it instead of leisurely strolling through. Did I forget to mention it was 109 degrees outside today and I was super hot!!!!

We chose to start at the top, stop 9, the temple and after we did this we were done. So, Zion is not a must see on my reviews.

Eli was so concerned on our previous hikes that he would become dehydrated and die. So, he said they needed backpacks with water for their next hike. We got them and they enjoyed them. (Just need hiking shoes....at least we have tennis shoes)
